FULL PERSONALITY. gullible trust,
Zen is all together is way to trusting. She takes the bait of a convincing story just as a fish is attracted to the worm on the hook. She can't say no to a drink, and falling in for the wrong person is one of her "strong points" But she is a shrewd girl, and making deals concerning her career, and when concerning her band's fashion statements she is always harping on them to get what she wants them to wear.
lonely girl,
The happy facade on the outside of Zen, is a show. On the inside Zenia isn't a normally happy person, though he does have her moments. Her romantic history isn't all that great one boyfriend, that totally rocked her world, then cheated on her. This was Zen's freshmen year and it devastated her, she cut herself to banish the anguish of the boy who cheated. Worst part was poor Zenia still loved him, time past and she got over him. But the scars on her arms remain the same, whenever she looks at the fading scars, her insides seem to cry and Zenia feels like she wants to die all over again.
lyingly honest,
Zenia is for the most part but she wants to fit in so bad that she lies about doing drugs, when she really doesn't. But in all other matters she tries her hardest to fit in and be truthful. But to make it big in the music industry, she has to lie a little. Zenia isn't very happy being the stylist though all in all its pretty funny, she still wants to pursue a career as a bassist but is willing to wait a while, Zen will still play her flute and bass by herself. Zenia is completely honest when it comes to playing her music, it reflects all the things going around in her life. Zen is also completely honest when she in love or thinks she's falling in love and such.
fool's gold,
Zenia is a clown, beyond the hurt, subtly, and sweetness. She loves to have fun and forget all the bad stuff life's thrown her way. So Zenia becomes a clown, puts on an act for her's an others benefit. But just acting the part isn't enough, Zen is actually funny, and sometimes just a little cocky. Cockiness just happens to sneak into her way of being funny, though on her life he would never do it to hurt someone. Thats when the sweetheart part of her comes in.
teddy bear,
Zenia is just about the kindest person you could ever want to meet. It doesn't take her long to warm up and be friendly to anybody, but you have to break through her quiet exterior first. A generous soul, Zen gives to all sorts of charity, mostly animal shelters, but none the less its a charity. Much like a teddy bear, Zen will be there for anybody when they need her. She can resist helping someone, even if they've hurt her before. Some say she's a fool for doing this, others say she is a brave soul, but Zenia just does it for herself. Hate really isn't her thing.
pervert,
Zen played in her high school marching band, and being in the marching band and that comes with a territory of being notoriously perverted. It didn't help the fact that her band is made up of testosterone filled boys with dirty minds about doing dirty things to girls and such nonsenses.[/color][/font]

FULL HISTORY.
Well, Zen's story doesn't start with her birth. His starts way back when his mother, Julie Sanders[maiden name] worked at a diner in the outskirts of Liverpool, UK. His father, a man native to France came to Liverpool for what reasons Julie never had even the slightest ideas. Julie, lonely from a recent break up with her long term high school sweetheart, Jacoby Dawson, young Julie was feeling so lonely and oh so desperate for the love and attention she craved. Well seducing the man from France was no problem. Julie always had a knack for capturing their minds, and manipulating them for her own benefits, in this case, sex was the answer to. Well after their one night stand, Julie had gotten his name, but nothing else, he had gotten up early and left in the morning before Julie had woken up. Julie wasn't phase because the next day, once again just her luck; a man that tickled Julie's fancy soon became her boyfriend.
Tension arose between the young new couple when Julie found she was pregnant, but that didn't shake away her new man's hold on his new girl. Even if it wasn't his, this noble teacher was staying. Well the two lovers fell head over heels for each other, Julie's baby bump was certainly getting bigger. Joe proposed to Julie right after her second trimester was almost up. She immediately consented, and the wedding was planned for after her baby's birth. The enaged couple were happy and loving, buying their first house and getting ready for the baby. Julie had decided that they would wait until the the baby was born to find the sex. Joe had the luxury of picking out the infants name, and Julie got the middle name, the baby was to have the real father's last name, ruedi. Joseph picked Zenia for a girl, and Samuel for a boy. Julie's picks were Beth for a girl, and Liam[after her dad] for a boy.
Well Julie's due date was near, and when visiting her mother her water broke. Julie was rushed to the hospital by her mother, and Joe was there soon after. Complications arose when the baby was turned around backwards. Feet first, and dangerous for any mother and child. So both mother and child were rushed into surgery for an immediate c-section. A happy ending for both, Julie and Joseph had a beautiful baby girl, named as they had decided Zenia Beth Cole. This bouncing baby girl of french and english descent was off to a great start in life she had survived the operation and was healthy as ever.
Growing up was a cinch with two loving figures in her life. Zenia believed that Joseph was her real dad, and so did everyone else who knew the family. Though only Joe and Julie knew that Zen was not Joseph's real daughter. So the girl grew up, starting kindergarten with no problems, but one day at recess, Zen had an asthma attack. Her parents, nor the teachers knew what was going on. 911 was called immediately, Zen was taken to the doctor, and soon recovered, from then on Zenia was aware of her asthma. Well grade school flew by quickly, but at the end of her sixth grade year. Her little sister Lucy Diana Poole was born. Making room for the new arrival wasn't to hard for Zen, she was getting older, and more tolerant of younger kids. She adored her little sister.
So Zen started intermediate school, grades seventh to ninth. Her first two years flew by in a blurry of drama, unrelated to her, but none the less all the drama stirred up by her class got to everybody's ears. Things in ninth grade settled down for most everybody, but Sam. Zen's world was turned upside down when a boy from London transfered to her school. His name was Thomas Huggins, and his love interests made a bee line straight for Zenia. Well Zen was attracted to her also, they made fast friends, and one day at the after school she confessed her love to him. He answered her with a kiss. Their new love sprung up like trees, growing and spreading. Things couldn't be better. A turn for the worse shook Zenia up and down, he had walked in on his parents in an argument about her real parentage, Joe wanted to tell Zenia, Julie felt the opposite way.
Zen demanded the truth and the next few days were the worst, paying a visit to Tom's house, she would often do this in better days. This case she needed his support more than anything in the world. She knocked on the door, but no answer, none the less Zenia pushed the door open, walking up to her room. She knocked once again, waiting for an answer. Muffled noises from the room caught his attention,s he called to him, and pushed the door open. Caught in the act was Tom, and another kid from, Shelby Weldon. His name was all she said in confusion, then she left tears brimming in her blue eyes. Zen didn't go home that night. She'd run into the woods to a place that she and Thomas had often gone. Her parents were worried as would anyone would be. Zenia came home that morning and her parents were relieved and furious.
But Zenia started to cut herself, hating her life, and like a zombie she went back and forth between school and home, walking her dog, Potts, and taking care of Lucy. At the end of her ninth grade year, Zenia's wrists were scarred, no more tears shed, eyes to dry to give anymore tears. The first day of his summer break, Zen decided to put the razor down, and ask her parents about the whereabouts of her paternal father. Julie, reluctant to tell him about Louis Matthews stalled him for a little bit. Zenia was persistent in asking and finally her mother gave in. Telling all that she knew, Joseph helped a great deal by hiring an investigator to search for her real dad. The time paid off, and the investigator found the man, and Zenia asked for one more thing. To meet her real dad, Joe consented, Julie not so eager for her daughter to leave, but she let her go.
The trip to France wasn't a difficult one, she'd studied french and latin in her language classes in England, so she was good for mediocre speaking. Of course the fifteen year old girl was scared, but still she came up to the address given to her. A man opened the door, Zenia asked his name and it was the right man according to his mom. The family welcomed her into the house. They told him about all his half-siblings, then Zen told them about her family. Of corse the woman of the house was a little surprised but it didn't phase her too much. Annabelle had come home for a brief period of time and they instantly bonded. She told her about the little town in Ohio called Lions Gate High School, and Zenia was interested in going to that school. She'd had enough of the school in Liverpool, with Tom and so many memories. Writing her parents about her decision, they sent money and along with Annabelle she moved to Lion's Gate, Ohio.
Her passion in music developed when she joined the marching band at Lion's Gate. She played flute back at her home in Liverpool, but a marching band was a new experience, through the three years she spent at Lion's Gate, she became a better flutiest, learned how to play bass, fell in love with singing. Zen heard of a solo artist in need of roadies and immediately wanted the job.

ROLEPLAY SAMPLE.[taken from another site i rp on, character is arizona verde-october o'connor]
Beep, beep, beep. The alarm clock rang bright and early, even the birds weren't awake yet, the gray dawn was still mostly black and blue, stars just fading out into space. It was chilly outside of her home, fog blanching out in damp sheets of pale gray. The snow on the ground was masked by the fog still spreading out so widely over the hills. An annoyed hand flipped over, smacking the snooze button on the clock. Tired blue eyes blinked open looking at the time. It was 4:00 a.m. on a Saturday, and Arizona Verde-October O'Connor had to get ready for work. She worked at a bakery and hat was the cause of the need to get up so early. She sighed pulling off her tank, and slipping out of her pj pants, down to being nude she stepped in the shower, letting the warm water wake her up. For Arizona taking a shower was the most enjoyable in the morning. She stepped out after fifteen minutes feeling clean and refreshed, but still tired. She sighed remembering last night when she had been out at a club till midnight, forgetting the fact that she had to come in the next day. She put on a nice red long sleeved shirt, a pair of loose black pants and went out the door taking her coat along with her the temperature had to be below freezing. She took in a deep breath fastening her coat around her, pulling out her motor bike.
Arizona was to poor to afford a real car, her apartment cost enough to begin with and adding a car would kill her in financial terms. She fastened her helmet, pulling out it was only a short way to the bakery and the cold already was nipping at her toes and fingers. It was about ten minutes later when Ari pulled into the employee parking space and fastened her bike to the bike stand with a chain, she would not take any chances with her bike. Rubbing her hands together, watching the warm air escape from her mouth, she opened the back door. Flipping on the light switch, Ari was early and she hated being the one to start things up, everything was so empty, when there weren't three other people in the back along with her. She hung up her coat, the one good thing about the bakery was that it was always warm and smelled good. She turned on the radio flipping to the oldies station, were a Fleetwood Mac song started playing. Arizona smiled, turning on the heater, it could be a little warmer. Arizona milled around for a little bit before taking out the dough and started to work with it. She was in charge of all the sticky buns and beagles. She pulled out yesterday's goods and set them on the table, they were reduced in price.
Bertha another employee opened the doors, smiling at Arizona she washed her hands and started working. Garnet a red-headed highschool senior soon followed her in. Arizona after a few hours switched her jobs, this was normal for her. As the early morning customers past, they were the ones that only wanted their baked good on the go. The families and people who came just to hang out came in and out like there was no tomorrow, this is when Garnet and Ari would switch their jobs and become waitresses. Bertha would stay in the back, making the orders that weren't the usual pastries. Around noon she took the order of a rather cute, but in her opinion, haughty senior that Garnet immediately blushed at. Ari took his order and went to the back, Garnet pulled Arizona aside and clued her in, Garnet and Ari had become fast friends, they were roughly the same age, only difference was that Ari had graduated the year before. The hours ticked on by and soon it was time for Ari to hang up her apron. She washed her hands once more, grabbing a hot roll as she went out, Arizona was so excited for this, she was going to the music store, she wanted a Fall Out Boy cd, it was an older one, but she had the newest one already. Arizona also wanted to pick up some tenor sax reeds as her supply was low. Her memory was cloudy, and so many things had changed in the year that she was away. She knew that there once was a store were you could buy reeds, but someone at Stella's had informed her that it had been replaced.
She pulled on her coat and got on her bike, zooming away to the Little Towne Mall, still pondering about the reeds she arrived walking into store after safely securing her motor bike. She walked into the store and sighed, this wasn't a music store were you could buy reeds or have an instrument repaired. But there were shelves upon shelves of cd's and her jaw literally dropped, this was amazing.
